The sitting area takes advantage of the many windows and the view overlooking the serene front yard. It helps to extend the otherwise smaller living area and adds value to property. The lived-in feeling Staging should be at best not detectable. We try to achieve the impression that the room is not decorated for a quick sale but a true representation of a luxurious lifestyle. Buyers should identify themselves with the space and be able to envision how they would fit in the house. When they point to the furniture and say "I like that" is a sale often immanent. Needless to say that the furnishings which influenced the buying decision are seldom part of the transaction. They are a mere catalyst to help buyers to envision their new lifestyle, regardless if this becomes a reality or if it remains an idealistic dream. |

Bungalow Charm It is important to know what target audience one tries to attract. A downtown two bedroom bungalow would be the ideal place for a younger clientele or a busy professional, that does not want the commute to the suburbs. Giving an old home the stylish makeover helps to elevate the property from dated to up to date. In his example we combined the low lines of contemporary seating with a small scale dining set in the background to showcase the rooms versatile nature. This makes an initially not so great room a true showcase. The rug helps to define spaces and give a visual separation in this otherwise open floor plan. |
