We changed a dated overhead florescent light box to recessed halogen lighting. All it has needed was to remove the old trim work and custom cut a piece of plywood to cover the soffit. The halogen lights were easy to install in the space. We suggested to update the faucet and added decorative accessories. We dressed the shower enclosure to the left with a curtain. Since the bathroom fixtures were gray we went with black accents to tie the look together.

This bathroom had outdated wallpaper which just was removed in this picture above. A rich hue of sienna give the wall the right depth. We changed also in this bathroom the typical 80's fluorescent light box to halogen spot lights. The cabinets were original in blond Oakwood. We chose a dark brown color and new hardware to update those existing cabinets. Instead of the builders grade mirror wall we chose a pair of matching framed mirrors to accent the the dual vanities. New faucets and accessories give this bathroom makeover the polished look. To give the commode area in the back some needed privacy, we suspended a hand carved screen from the ceiling.

This hallway bath had its original builders grade fixtures, a tired laminate countertop, and light blue walls. We updated it with a new granite tile counter and designer fixtures bought online in a discount outlet. New chrome pulls give the old cabinets a sparkle. We closed up the dated overhead fluorescent light boxes and installed recessed halogen spotlights instead. The aging wall to wall mirror had to make way for a silver furniture mirror that adds detail to the scene.

Color is the prevailing element in this bathroom decoration. The existing tile in the bathtub surround are green with some reddish accents. This has generally a dated look. With the color coordination it appears to have a natural extension of this flowing theme and the old tile is just part of the overall design. "If you can not hide it flaunt it and play it up."
The Bamboo shade provides privacy and hides some of the imperfections of the window frame. The rod iron ornament is unusual for a bathroom and gives some focal point on the back wall. For the shower curtain we chose a silk panel for richness and luster. Since the house is vacant and nobody will use the shower, we could leave out the usual tacky plastic liner.

The laminate countertops have a nice stone imitation look. We added to the texture with a woven basket, a oversized cognac glass filled with scented potpourri and a rich brown rug. Some towels and spa paraphernalia give the finishing touches.

This nice bathroom did not need much. We accented the travertine tile work and the granite counters with some Asian statues and some accessories. A row of pictures give the empty wall a focal point. We added the color coordinated shower curtain and potpourri in a transparent vessel provide fragrance and texture.
This bathroom remodel on a budget started out with new tile around the tub and a new countertop on existing cabinets. The owner requested a contemporary look with neutral colors. The granite countertops were done utilizing less expensive granite tiles. The vessel sinks offers more height and update the room. The existing mirror was salvaged and cut to its new dimension. Three wall sconces replaced the outdated builders grade light fixture. Neutral gray tones complete this granite look. A small cabinet on the counter provides additional storage and visually separates the two sinks.
